DESCRIPTION:18th Annual Feed the Community Dinner\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, November 17th\, New Frontier of Bartow County presents the 18th Annual Feed the Community Dinner\, In Honor of Michael Dean. Held at the Cartersville Civic Center\, located at 435 West Main Street\, food will be served from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. The menu will feature a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and other services will be provided\, such as\, blood pressure checks and HIV testing\, along with free clothing\, toys\, and haircuts all available onsite. Everyone in our community is invited to attend regardless of their race\, income\, political affiliation\, religion\, or sexual orientation.\n\n\n\nOur hope is that the community will once again answer our challenge and support this inspirational gathering by volunteering to help. If you or your organization would like to volunteer please contact William Solomon at (404) 625-3880. Volunteer opportunities include serving of the food\, helping with the clothes closet\, parking lot attendants\, and clean up. This is a great opportunity for high school students in need of volunteer service hours.\n\n \n\nFree transportation is being provided by Bartow Transit to and from the event. To schedule a pickup\, call (770) 387-5165\, between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm\, Monday through Friday.\n\n \n\nEvery year our goal is to serve around 2\,000 people\, therefore letting no one leave hungry. In order to accomplish this worthwhile cause\, we are asking for your help financially. Companies and individuals wishing to donate can make a contribution online through our website\, thenewfrontierinc.org. Donations can also be sent via mail to New Frontier of Bartow County at P.O. Box 1891\, Cartersville\, GA 30120.\n\n \n\nDonations of clothes\, toys\, children's books\, and other necessities are also being accepted.
