The event is designed to equip caregivers with the skills to understand and address issues throughout the continuum of Alzheimer's Disease. The conference includes an exhibit area\, where sponsors and exhibitors will interact with participants and volunteers throughout the day. There will also be a special area designated specifically for Family Caregiver Wellness.\n\n \n\n Keynote speaker\, Melanie Bunn\, GNP\, MS\, RN\, is a Dementia Training Specialist for Alzheimer's North Carolina in Raleigh\, North Carolina. She is a skilled and experienced clinician\, having provided care for people with dementia in a variety of care settings including retirement homes\, hospitals\, nursing and assisted living facilities\, and in-home as a gerontological nurse practitioner\, clinical nurse specialist and staff nurse.
