DESCRIPTION:Congressman Barry Loudermilk's\n\n2nd Annual Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship Career Fair\n\n\n\nTuesday\, October 18\, 2022\, 10 AM - 12 PM\n\nCobb County Civic Center\, Larry Bell Recreational Center\n\n548 South Marietta Pkwy SE\, Marietta\, GA 30060\n\n\n\nThis event will host employers\, trade\, and tech schools to promote apprenticeships\, internships\, and career opportunities in trade jobs for middle and high school students in the 11th District.  The goal of this event is to increase awareness of trade opportunities in our district with the objective of lowering the skills gap by increasing the number of young men and women entering the workforce.  To encourage the students to interact with vendors\, they will be given a "Student Passport to Success" and will be required to stop and speak with at least ten (10) different companies or schools.\n\n\n\nSeeking tech/trade schools and employers offering trade apprenticeships\, training\, or internships to be exhibitors for this one-day event for middle and high school students.\n\n\n\nThis event is free for all exhibitors\, but registration is required.  Each participant will need to complete the attached registration form and email it to eventsga11@mail.house.gov.  Space is limited\, so early registration is recommended.
