SUMMARY:Advocates for Children Spring Benefit
DESCRIPTION:ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN'S ANNUAL SPRING BENEFIT TO BE HELD AT BOOTH WESTERN ART MUSEUM\n\n \n\nCARTERSVILLE\, GA-MARCH 25\, 2015: More than 300 men and women are selecting their best "southern sophisticate" attire for this year's Advocates for Children Spring Benefit.\n\n \n\nThe 7th annual event will take place with the Smithsonian affiliated Booth Western Art Museum as a backdrop while patrons socialize and canvass nearly 200 items up for bid during a silent auction.\n\n \n\nAs guests arrive they will be greeted and assigned a BidPal device. BidPal is a handheld device used for the bidding and purchase of all silent auction items. BidPal gives the user and organization tremendous ease and convenience allowing the guests to keep the BidPal device with them throughout the evening\, eliminating having to go back multiple times to check your bidding status.\n\n \n\nGuests will enjoy a meal catered by Ray Thacker of Grand Oaks. As the evening progresses\, the audience will be entertained by emcees Kevin Daniels and Kevin Karel live auctioneers for the evening. Twelve items will be auctioned off live including a getaway to Pawleys Island\, South Carolina at True Blue Plantation\, and courtside seats for four to an Atlanta Hawks game.\n\n \n\nScarlet Wool\, winners of the 2013 Atlanta Fest talent search\, will entertain guests throughout the evening with their harmonious blend of voices. \n\n \n\nAs the evening comes to a close\, ticket holders will head south on Wall Street for an After Party at City Cellar Loft with food provided by Cartersville Steak n Shake and a cash bar. Guests will dance the night away and celebrate what hopes to be another successful event. All funds raised go to families and children that need services provided by the many programs of Advocates for Children.\n\n \n\nAdvocates for Children administers eight programs with 42 employees and serves more than 3\,000 children and families each year.
