SUMMARY:Bartow Collaborative Meeting
DESCRIPTION:August Bartow Collaborative Meeting\n\n	Friday\, August 16\n\n	8:30 AM - 10:30 AM\n\n	\n\n	Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church\n\n	183 West Main Street\, Cartersville\n\n\nAndy Barclay of the Bartow Clinic at Emory University will speak about a new program funded by the Annie Casey Foundation. The program focuses on local indicators of child maltreatment\, specifically the degree to which gender\, ethnicity\, relationship to perpetrator\, and socio-economic factors significantly predict the incidence of childhood sexual abuse\, physical abuse and non-abuse. These variables are then linked to geographic identifiers using geographic information system (GIS) technology to show a geo-mapping framework for child sexual and physical abuse prevention efforts.\n\n\n\nThe presentation will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. Coffee and networking begin at 8:15 AM\, followed by the program at 8:30 AM. Guest are encouraged to park at the Frank Moore Administration and Judicial Building behind the church on Cherokee Avenue and enter through the back of the church.\n\n\n\nAny Board members\, committee members or community members are invited to attend.
