DESCRIPTION:Bartow County Transit Development Plan Open House\n\n\n\nTuesday\, February 28\, 2017\, 4 PM - 7 PM\n\nClarence Brown Conference Center\n\n5450 Hwy 20\, Cartersville\, GA 30121\n\n\n\nThe Open House will focus on options for expanding the services of the Bartow County Transit Department. At present\, the service operates on a 24-hour notice of the need for a transport and the service meets one at the door and drops them off at their destination.\n\n \nOptions under consideration include the addition of fixed routes within the community\, a commuter route connecting Bartow County with metro Atlanta express bus services\, and expansion of the hours of service\, among others.\n\nNo formal presentations will be made during the event. Guests are welcome to stay as long as they like.
