SUMMARY:Bartow History Museum Evening Lecture: Confederate Hospitals
DESCRIPTION:Confederate Hospitals of the Atlanta Campaign\n\n\n\nOn Thursday\, August 29\, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.\, Bartow History Museum welcomes guest speaker and author Brad Quinlin. Mr. Quinlin will discuss his latest research on the Confederate hospitals of the Atlanta Campaign- mainly based on the work of Samuel Hollinsworth Stout\, Superintendent of Hospitals for the Army of Tennessee under General Braxton Briggs. Recently\, he was the historical consultant and researcher on the new Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield film to premiere on September 22\, 2013. Brad has researched the Civil War history of hundreds of families across the U.S. including former Vice President\, Dick Cheney. \n\n\n\nThis Evening Lecture will take place at the Bartow History Museum located at\n\n4 E. Church Street in downtown Cartersville. Parking is available next to the building. The lecture is free to members and included with the price of admission for not-yet members.
