Participants are encouraged while at the museum to tour Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America\, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition\, which will be open through September 9\, 2017. She has been in the museum field for 17 years working at institutions like the Atlanta History Center\, Kennesaw State University\, and Dalton State College. She has been the Executive Director for Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home in Rome\, Georgia for four years and teaches U.S. History for Georgia Highlands College.\n\n\n\nAbout Bartow History Museum\n\nThe Bartow History Museum\, located at 4 East Church Street in downtown Cartersville\, Georgia\, documents the history of northwest Georgia's Bartow County\, spanning more than 200 years since the Cherokee were the area's primary residents.
