DESCRIPTION:BIG CHICKEN CHORUS CHRISTMAS CONCERT TO BENEFIT ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN RETURNS TO CARTERSVILLE BRINGING SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS. \n\n \n\nCARTERSVILLE\, GA-NOVEMBER 20\, 2015: It's that time of year again\; decorating the house\, shopping for gifts and enjoying the sounds of the season. There's no better way to enjoy the holiday classics than to hear the performance by the Big Chicken's a cappella chorus.\n\n \n\nMark your calendar now and buy your tickets before they sell out. \n\nThe Big Chicken Chorus will perform their annual Christmas concert on Sunday\, December 5\, 2015 at 3:00pm in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Cartersville.  \n\n \n\nProceeds from the performance will benefit Advocates for Children.  Tickets are $15.00 for adults\, $5.00 for children ages 4-12\, no admission fee for children under three. Tickets may be purchased through the Advocates for Children website\, www.AdvoChild.org\, The Big Chicken Chorus website\, www.BigChickenChorus.org\n\nor by contacting Alan Bowen\, 770.846.4465 or Bill Devine\, 770. 606.1222.\n\n \n\nSanta and Mrs. Claus got wind of the wonderful celebration of the season and decided to join the group for the event. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photographs with little ones (and adults too) before and after the concert. There is no cost to have your photograph made with Santa\, but you will need to bring your own camera to take photographs. \n\n \n\nThe Big Chicken Chorus has over fifty members ranging in age from high-school age to late 80's. The singing group is made up of men from many walks of life including business owners\, retired military\, politicians\, financial consultants\, first responders and many others with one thing in common\, they all love to sing\, especially a cappella - four part harmony.\n\n \n\nThe Christmas performance will include all types of Christmas music\, traditional classics like "Silent Night" and "Oh Holy Night"\, up-beat contemporary like "Marvelous Toy and "We Need A little Christmas" and even Christmas with a calypso beat in "The Virgin Mary Had A Baby Boy".  In addition to "The Big Chicken Chorus"\, the performance will include numbers from four barbershop quartets. \n\n \n\nEach of us can make a huge difference in the lives of children through the giving of our time and support of events like the Big Chicken Chorus.\n\n \n\nAdvocates for Children strengthens our community of families by offering safety\, comfort and hope to children and preventing child abuse in all its forms.
