Now that it's in print\, adapting it into a screenplay is a cinch\, right? Well\, not so fast. Booth Writers Guild has invited Mitchell Olson\, experienced Hollywood screenwriter\, to speak to us about exactly how that process goes. More importantly he will explain how the written and the visual treatment of the same very story varies.\n\n\n\nAbout Mitch\n\nMitch worked in scripted development at major film and television production companies before transitioning into TV writing. He has worked on shows   for NBC\, CBS\, Fox\, and Netflix. Most recently\, he wrote for the multi-cam comedy The Ranch on Netflix\, and he currently has two feature-screenplays   one summer tent pole\; one low-budget in development. He earned a Creative Writing degree from Florida State University\, his MFA in Screenwriting the Brooks Institute of Film and Photography\, and he is currently teaching and building the undergraduate and graduate screenwriting programs at Kennesaw State University while writing his next project.
