DESCRIPTION:Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger.  Cartersville is starting up a local chapter of this wonderful fundraiser.  Guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and bread.  In exchange for a cash donation\, guests keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.\n\n\n\nAll of the proceeds will go to Backpack Buddies.  Backpack Buddies provides food for hungry children in our community.\n\n\n\nThe fundraiser will be held on September 25\, from noon until 3:00 pm.
