Sept 30\, 2017.\n\nThis year the Clean Up Committee is asking folks to start picking up trash as soon as they see it.\n\n\n\nOur goal is to have less trash to pick up on Sept 30\, 2017\, than any of the previous years.\n\n\n\nThe Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up has started an initiative to encourage folks to work with us 365 days of the year to help keep the lake clean. Our Lake Allatoona Hero program is designed to boost participation in perpetual trash pick-up by individuals as they find trash along the lake shore.\n\n\n\nPost a photo and comment of someone taking trash away on Instagram to #AllatoonaHero or #LakeAllatoonaCleanUp.
