Main Street\, Cartersville\, GA 30120\n\n\n\nOur second new play reading in the PHP Local Playwright Series will feature Living Room\, a modern love story about starting over\, by Laurel Ann Lowe. Living Room will be read January 19\, 2019 at 8pm at the Legion Theatre\, with an optional talkback to follow. Become a part of the artistic process!\n\n\n\nDirected by Alex LaVelle\n\nReaders: Lindsay Olsen\, Bob Whaley\, Aurelia Moore\, Jack Allison\, Ashley Elliott\, Karen Ruetz\, Duane Ellis\, & Stacy King \n\n\n\nChildren of divorced parents themselves\, Natalie and Jared are well acquainted with the delicate balancing act of a two-household childhood\, and they are determined to keep their own hurt and bitterness from affecting their daughter Sofia. To complicate matters\, Jared's serial divorcee mother and Natalie's on-again\, off-again parents all have their own opinions about what it means to split things down the middle. But life and love goes on\, even in the worst of times\, and sometimes the lines between right and wrong are blurrier than we think. In a modern America where approximately half of marriages end in divorce\, Living Room offers a candid look into the chaotic\, sometimes humorous side of finding your own space and starting over.\n\n\n\n** This play does include adult language and situations.
