THE EVENT HORIZON\, THAT IS!\n\nExplore the supermassive black holes at the center of Messier 87 and the Milky Way with Dr. Justin Robinson from Georgia State University! \n\n \n\nUsing real images captured by the Event Horizon Telescope\, learn what a black hole is\, how they're created\, the special technology used to capture these rare images\, and how real black holes compare to what you see in popular movies and TV.\n\n\n\nSTAY + EXPLORE!\n\nSee the physics of a black hole unfold in real time with a gravity well demonstration. Then make and decorate your own mini black hole simulation to take home!\n\n\n\nThe Lunch + Learn lecture begins at 12:15 PM. No outside food is allowed but you are welcome to buy lunch in the Caf  and bring it into the lecture\, or just come hear the lecture. All Lunch + Learns are FREE for members and included in regular admission for non-members. Presentations are recommended for ages 8 and up\, unless otherwise indicated.
