Beginning Sunday morning\, January 31\, 2016\, Revered Tom Atkins will bring the message of revival to Sam Jones UMC.\n\n \n\nReverend Atkins is a United Methodist conference evangelist that travels north Georgia spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. The revival will begin on Sunday morning\, January 31 in the sanctuary of Sam Jones UMC. A full schedule is as follows:\n\n \n\nSunday\, January 31\, 8:30AM\, Sanctuary\n\nSunday\, January 31\, 9:45AM\, Family Life Center\n\nSunday\, January 31\, 11:00AM\, Sanctuary\n\nSunday\, January 31\, 6:00PM\, Sanctuary\n\nMonday\, February 1\, 7:00PM\, Sanctuary\n\nMonday\, February 2\, 7:00PM\, Sanctuary\n\n \n\nThere is no cost to attend the services and everyone is invited. "The sanctuary of Sam Jones UMC will hold more than 300 people not including chairs in the aisles and we hope to fill every seat\, pew and chairs\, for this event\," said Kevin Lobello\, Senior Minister of Sam Jones Memorial UMC. \n\n \n\n"The church was named for the famous southern evangelist\, Samuel Porter Jones\, who traveled the United States preaching the gospel. It is only fitting for Sam Jones UMC to host a revival with the Reverend Sam P. Jones being referred to as the Billy Graham of his era. Jones' home\, now the Rose Lawn Museum\, is located a couple of blocks away at 224 W. Cherokee Avenue. We think Reverend Jones would be proud to know the church bearing his name was overflowing with people eager to hear the word of our Savior\, Jesus Christ."\n\n \n\nMusic can be the catalyst to the energy of a revival or any service. The revival at Sam Jones UMC will have music provided by the talented and energetic Mt.
