DESCRIPTION:The Ribbon Cutting will be at The Pettit Environmental Preserve at 4:30 PM on Thursday\, May 29.\n\n\n\nThe Preserve is located off Dallas/Cartersville HWY 61\n\n\n\nOur entrance is from Douthit Bridge Rd past the Birchwood Farms Subdivision.\n\n\n\nIf using GPS\, enter "Douthit Bridge Rd\, Paulding Co"\n\n \n\nFrom Cartersville\n\n1) Take Highway 113/61 South\; turn left on Hwy 61 at Cartersville airport.\n\n**2) Follow Hwy 61 for 3.8 miles\, then turn left on Douthit Bridge Rd (at Birchwood subdivision).\n\n++3) After .4 mi the road becomes one-lane\, unpaved\; proceed to fork in road and take right on Vineyard Rd\; continue for another 1.6 mi (passing through two gates) to The Pettit Preserve.\n\n4) Parking is in a graveled lot on your left after you pass the large Pettit Preserve sign.\n\n\n\nFrom I-75:\n\n1) Take Exit 285\, Red Top Mountain and head WEST (away from the State Park).\n\n2) Go straight at the traffic light\; road becomes Old Alabama Rd.\n\n3) Proceed on Old Alabama for approximately 7 miles. At stop sign\, turn LEFT onto Hwy 61.\n\n4) Proceed with Cartersville directions from **\n\n\n\nFrom Dallas:\n\n1) 11.5 miles on Hwy 61 North/Cartersville Hwy. Turn RIGHT on Douthit Bridge Rd at Birchwood subdivision.\n\n2) Proceed with above Cartersville directions from ++
