DESCRIPTION:Daisies\, Brownies\, & Juniors: Night Sky\n\n\n\nSaturday\, November 4\, 2023\n\n10 AM to 12:40 PM (check-in begins at 9:30)\n\n\n\nRegistration for this program closes at noon on Wednesday\, November 1\, 2023 or when the program reaches maximum capacity.\n\n\n\nCome experience the stars of Tellus Science Museum! During the Night Sky program\, Daisies\, Brownies\, and Juniors will work toward the requirements of the Space Science Explorer\, Space Science Adventurer\, and Space Science Investigator badges (respectively). While at Tellus\, scouts will tour the night sky in the planetarium and learn about the major constellations of each season\, like Orion\, Big Dipper\, Polaris\, and Cassiopeia. Scouts will learn how to make and use star wheels\, make a model solar system\, and investigate Moon phases. Other activities will include learning how to use a telescope and viewing the Moon\, the Sun\, and sunspots (weather permitting).
