DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Highlands College Advisory Council will present its   Sixth Annual Human Resources Seminar on Tuesday August 14th. This seminar will be held at our Georgia Highlands College Cartersville Campus on HWY 20 in Cartersville.\n\nThis seminar is for anyone who manages\,  supervises or leads employees. Let me know if you would like a copy of our seminar agenda.\n\n\n\nTHIS YEAR THE SEMINAR WILL FOCUS ON  "Managing Your Employees in Today's Economic Environment".  Our speakers include a nationally recognized labor attorney Dan Murphy and other leaders in the business community. \n\n\n\nTopics will include but not limited to:\n\nIntroduction Activity                                    \n\nWorking Across Generations                      \n\nTalent Development                                                    \n\n\n	\n		Employee Development\n	\n		Dealing with Difficult Employees\n	\n		Determining Staff Levels\n\nEmployee Engagement                                \n\nHot Legal Issues                                                            \n\n\n	\n		FMLA and ADA\n	\n		Immigration and E-Verify\n	\n		Social Networking Actions of Employees\n	\n		Part Time/Temporary Employees\n	\n		Other Hot Topics\n\nQuestions and Networking Session         \n\n \n\nThis event is sponsored by the Georgia Highlands Advisory Council.\n\n \n\nRegistration Fee: $59 per Person.
