Mega hits include Under the Boardwalk\, On Broadway\, Stand by Me\, Up on the Roof and Save the Last Dance for Me.\n\n \n\n"Join us for 'This Magic Moment' at Falany with familiar hits from the 50's and 60's\," said Jessica Akers\, director of the Falany Performing Arts Center. "The Drifters are a rock and roll legend\, and we are pleased to have them return to our stage."\n\n \n\nThe popular group performed at Falany two years ago to a sold-out audience. A second matinee show was added this year.\n\n \n\nThe Drifters have been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. They were the first musical group to include string instruments into rhythm and blues with the hit\, There Goes My Baby. Their classic tune\, Under the Boardwalk\, is the most played R&B record of all time.\n\n \n\nThe Drifters have performed for audiences around the world including three U.S. Presidents\, the Pope\, the Queen of England and Nelson Mandella. They have also given a benefit concert in Berlin the day the wall fell and performed at three war zones for the USO.\n\n \n\nTickets cost $40 to $45 for adults\, $35 to $40 for seniors and $10 to $15 for children (12 and younger).
