Spring Break Fun at Bartow History Museum
Cartersville, Georgia – April 7-11, 2014 – Bartow History Museum camps are always a great time! This year the museum is offering two fun filled spring break day camps for ages 4-6 and 7-11, Kids at Work, Kids at Play, and A Story Book Life.
Do your kids have a favorite toy or game? Then Kids at Work, Kids at Play is a great camp for them. This day camp explores children’s chores, games, and crafts before television and videogames. Kids will have a blast outside playing Newspaper Toss, going on a museum scavenger hunt, experiencing a lemonade stand, and making their own colorful scarecrows and crazy yarn critters.
From the mischievous Tom Sawyer to The Avengers, Storybook Life camp explores history through story characters, interactive games, and imaginative crafts. Campers will solve Mysteries of the Museum, create their own comic strip, and even make their own colorful characters and villains. Campers are encouraged to bring their favorite toy or book to show.
Kids at work, Kids at Play is offered on April 7th for 4-6 year olds, and April 8th for 7-11 year olds. A Story Book Life is offered April 9th for 4-6 year olds, and April 10th for 7-11 year olds. Camps are held from 9am to 12pm at the Bartow History Museum, 4 East Church St, Cartersville, GA.
