Join the Bartow History Museum for a presentation by Amelia Golcheski, a doctoral candidate in history at Emory University. Golcheski's presentation titled, Material Worth Preserving: Care Labor and the Foxfire Project, focuses on how the Foxfire project preserved southern Appalachian culture during a period of change and globalization (the 1960s-1980s), and women's important role in this preservation. This lecture is free for BHM members. $7 for non-members.
