Canadian born artist Allan Mardon began his artistic career as a graphic designer, animator, and illustrator before moving to the Southwest to pursue a career in fine art. The renowned veteran painter is best known for his work The Battle of Greasy Grass (Hoka Hey!), depicting Custer's 'Last Stand' featured in the Today's West! exhibit. Mardon will discuss his artistic career encompassing desert landscapes, horses, buffalo, and the Indians that lived with them.
