Description
The Bartow County Health Department will offer flu shots, at NO CHARGE, on a walk-in basis, Thursday, October 3, 2013, from 9 AM until 5:30 PM, as long as supplies last, at the Cartersville Civic Center located next to the library. This is the only day flu shots will be offered at no charge.
For your convenience, please view the Influenza Vaccine Information Sheet that you must read before receiving a flu shot and the 2013-14 Influenza Vaccine Consent Form that you must complete. You may print, complete, and bring these forms with you to the Cartersville Civic Center.
Should you have any questions or concerns you should ask and feel your questions has been addressed satisfactory before receiving the flu shot.
The flu shot cannot give you the flu. Get a flu shot and protect yourself and those you love. Encourage family, friends, and co-workers to get their flu shot, at no charge, on October 3, 2013 at the Cartersville Civic Center.
To make it quick and easy for you to get a flu shot, we will have 12 stations set up. We only have 2000 flu shots so come early to assure you do not miss this opportunity.
We will also provide special services to accommodate disabled individuals or those who have difficulty walking. Inform one of the staff as you enter the Cartersville Civic Center that special services are needed. Complete a form for the individual and we will go to the vehicle to let them sign their consent and give the shot. This person cannot be the driver of the vehicle.
