Love nature and the environment? Do you enjoy learning cool facts about plants and animals? If so, the "Fruits, Frogs, and Farm Animals!" Camp is for you!
During this week-long adventure, students will explore the intersection of ecology, humankind, and the environment including conservation of our natural resources, the impact of environmental issues, and the sustainability of modern agricultural systems.
Although the activities change from year to year, some of the cool hands-on activities include investigating pollination, constructing a tabletop greenhouse, making butter and homemade ice cream, creating a pine cone bird feeder, dissecting fruits, flowers, and owl pellets, painting with chlorophyll, and so much more! Other exciting activities may include live animal encounters, meeting Smokey the Bear, and taking a ride in a real farm tractor.
If you want to play in the dirt, help the environment become more sustainable for the future, and learn about the natural resources all around us, this is the camp for you!
