Featuring plenty of laughs and a fun evening all intended to raise support for local and international charitable organizations, Rotary Club of Etowah is pleased to announce the 5th annual Laughs & Libations. Hosted this year by the popular comedian, actor, and writer Hank Denson, this social affair featuring drinks, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and plenty of great laughs, has become something that past attendees excitedly await each year. Held at the Clarence Brown Conference Center, the event has sold out each of the previous three years, and raises approximately $5,000 annually for local nonprofits including Advocates for Children, Boys & Girls Club, Cartersville Little League, and many others, while also assisting with Rotary International’s quest for the global eradication of Polio.
Guests may arrive at 6 p.m. and enjoy delicious food selections from The Original Steak & Rib House, a cash bar, and a silent auction. Kicking off the evening entertainment at 7:30 p.m. will be host Hank Denson. Be sure to check back soon for additional information on the comedic line-up for the evening!
Rotary Club of Etowah meets every Tuesday at 7:30 am at Johnny Mitchell's Smokehouse, located in West End Commons. Comprised of various community members ranging from nonprofit directors, financial advisors, healthcare professionals and more, the weekly meetings consist of networking with fellow members and guests, as well as an educational program. Adhering to Rotary International’s main mission of ‘Service Above Self,’ Rotary Club of Etowah provides both financial contributions and hands-on volunteer assistance to numerous local charitable organizations, and also supports Rotary International’s efforts to eradicate polio.
