Leadership Bartow Alumni Association (LBAA) invites the community to attend breakfast with C.J. Stewart, former Chicago Cubs outfielder and founder of the nonprofit organization L.E.A.D. The event is Tuesday, June 11, and will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church. Because C.J. is a dynamic speaker with a worthwhile message about inspiring youth, LBAA is welcoming those who have not participated in Leadership Bartow to attend.
“C.J. and Kelli Stewart have received numerous awards for their outstanding work with underprivileged youth,” says LBAA Chairman Rick Kollhoff. “This is a great opportunity for our own community to learn more about assisting kids with great potential and little resources. We see a strong connection between the Stewarts’ efforts and our own LBAA mission to actively pursue positive change through community leadership development.”
