The Bartow History Museum is excited to host local historian Joe Head for a lecture on Asa Candler and Cartersville’s connections to the history of Coca-Cola. In this session, Joe will explore Candler’s early years, his apprenticeship in Cartersville, and how the town influenced his future, including the founding of Coca-Cola. Attendees will gain a unique perspective on Candler’s legacy and Coca-Cola’s lasting impact on both the local and global community. About Joe Head Joe Head, Vice President of the Etowah Valley Historical Society, is a respected historian with extensive knowledge of Bartow County’s rich past. Known for his engaging storytelling, Joe brings history to life, making this lecture a must-attend for anyone interested in Cartersville’s connection to Coca-Cola.
