Bring the kids and join Tellus Astronomer David Dundee for an introductory discussion about the upcoming total solar eclipse. Learn about why eclipses happen, how to build a pinhole viewer to safely observe the eclipse, and what to look for during the event.
The Lunch + Learn lecture begins at 12:15 PM. No outside food is allowed but you are welcome to buy lunch in the Café and bring it into the lecture, or just come hear the lecture.
All Lunch + Learns are FREE for members of the Museum and included in regular admission for non-members. Presentations are recommended for ages 8 and up, unless otherwise indicated. From fossils to stars, Lunch and Learn features a wide variety of topics.
