This is a two-day course that provides general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter. The training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.
Course Scope:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Walking & Working Surfaces
- Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans & Fire Protection
- Electrical
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Hazard Communication
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Fall Protection
- Injury & Illness Recordkeeping
Upon successful completion of course, attendees will receive their OSHA 10-Hour Card.
Cost is $149 per Chamber Member attendee or $199 per Non-Member attendee. There will be a break to allow for lunch on your own.
