Join Alexandra MacMurdo Reiter and K. Heidi Fishman as they share recent research findings of a clandestine scheme that saved hundreds during the Holocaust.
Hear the uplifting story of how Alexandra's grandfather, Stefan Ryniewicz, helped save Heidi's grandfather, Heinz Lichtenstern, among others throughout Europe, through the creation of fake foreign passports. The presentation will be followed by a reception and book signing for Heidi's book, Tutti's Promise.
The presentation is part of the Women's History Series organized by the GHC Humanities Division. For more information, email amacmurd@highlands.edu.
