Description
The first of many reptile meet-and-greet events in Cartersville! If you’ve ever wanted to meet a real life dragon or hold a snake in your hands, here’s a chance to meet them. Scaly Saturday will host members of the Georgia Reptile Society (GRS) who bring their pet reptiles for the public to meet. While not an official GRS event, we’ll have a tip jar for donations and all proceeds will help fundraise for the GRS in their mission to educate and advocate for reptiles. Chris Pocase will bring two of his reptiles to the event - Victoria, a bearded dragon; and Ruby, a Nelson’s Milk Snake. Other GRS members plan to come with their own reptiles so it will be fun to meet some scaly friends during the event!
