Reinhardt University’s own Dr. Kenneth Wheeler, professor of history, will discuss his book, “Modern Cronies: Southern Industrialism from Gold Rush to Convict Labor, 1829-1894” which details the ways the Gold Rush in the South affected the Etowah River Valley area. Free for museum members, $10 for non-members.
