Description
Learn how to observe the planets, stars, and constellations. Get to know the evening sky in the Bentley Planetarium and observe the night sky with small, portable telescopes and through our 20" reflecting telescope in the Observatory. All participants will receive a rotary star chart with hands-on instructions on how to use it. *This workshop will happen rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the Observatory will be limited to tours only. The Observatory is not heated or air-conditioned, so please dress accordingly. Advance registration for members only until October 27, 2023. Registration closes at noon on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 or when the workshop reaches maximum capacity. Advance registration is required; limited space available. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Cancellation policy: 48 hours before for full refund.
