Help the Woodland High School Band earn scholarship money through blood donations this summer! Woodland High School Band is again participating in the Blood Assurance Battle of the Bands competition by hosting a blood drive on Friday, July 20 from Noon - 6:30 p.m. The band that collects the most donations by August 15th will win a $1,500 scholarship. Woodland High School placed 2nd in last year's competition earning $750 for the band program. Donors can support the band by donating at the July 20th drive at Woodland High School or by donating at the Cartersville Donor Center, located at 334 Cherokee Place. If donating at the center, donors need to be sure to let the Blood Assurance staff know their donation is in support of the Woodland High School Wildcats.
