United States Disc Dog Nationals World Championships

Dellinger Park

Cartersville, Georgia October 20th  –  22nd, 2017

Every year the Greater Atlanta Dog and Disc Club hosts one of the most prestigious stand-alone Frisbee Dog Championships in the world. The United States Disc Dog Nationals (USDDN) has been in existence for 16 years and has our sport has outgrown the boundaries of United States.

Past events in this location have drawn close to 10,000 spectators over the weekend and, with our live streaming viewership, have had 400,000 viewed minutes during our three-day event.

A team consisting of one human and one dog competes in two different competitions, a Toss & Fetch style competition and a Freestyle competition with a World Champion crowned in each category on Sunday. We are expecting the USDDN Disc Dog World Finals to include approximately 100 qualified teams, all of whom have had to previously qualify in one of the 28 World Final Qualifying competitions held in the past year from locations around the world. These teams are the best in the world.

Besides representing all regions of the USA, other countries represented include Canada, China, Columbia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Spain, and Turkey.

We are expanding our event this year to include other canine activities and more vendors. The public is encouraged to bring their dog and participate in the various activities. Also added this year will be more vendors catering to a dog lover. If you love a dog – this is a no miss event.

If you are interested in a vendor space, please contact us at:  [email protected]

Given the community support we enjoyed at last year’s World Finals, we have been asked again by the city of Cartersville, GA to return and hold the event there again this year. This is a free event to attend and, as in the past, all food concessions will be donated to the Etowah Valley Humane Society.
