It can write emails, win trivia nights, and debate philosophy, but can ChatGPT actually think?
Join Anna Ivanova, Assistant Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Georgia Tech, as she pulls back the curtain on large language models — the AI technology behind tools like ChatGPT. Discover how these systems are trained, why they seem so human at times, and where the similarities between artificial and human intelligence begin to break down. You’ll also walk away with practical advice for using AI more responsibly.
STAY + EXPLORE!
It’s your brain vs. the machine! After the talk, put your own gray matter to the test with nonograms. No algorithms allowed!
The Lunch + Learn lecture begins at 12:15 PM. No outside food is allowed but you are welcome to buy lunch in the Café and bring it into the lecture, or just come hear the lecture. All Lunch + Learns are FREE for members and included in regular admission for non-members. Presentations are recommended for ages 8 and up, unless otherwise indicated.
