Clinical Medical Assistant Open House at Georgia Highlands College

Georgia Highlands College Center for Continuing and Professional Education will host an Open House for its Clinical Medical Assistant program at the Cartersville campus on Saturday, September 17th at 10am in Building A, Room 130. Georgia Highlands College is located at 5441 Hwy. 20 NE, Cartersville, GA 30121.

In today’s job market, Clinical Medical Assistants are in demand! There are currently more than 150 jobs posted on Indeed in Bartow County alone. Meet the instructor and hear about the interest-free payment plan available to all students regardless of credit, income, or employment status.

In this program, students will train to obtain patient vital signs, assist with minor medical procedures, administer laboratory tests, give injections, perform venipuncture (phlebotomy), and more. Certification through the National Health Career Association (www.nhanow.com), exam preparation, and CPR certification are included.

Students registering at the Open House will receive a gift certificate ($40 value) towards a free set of scrubs. All are welcome! The Open House is free, and pre-registration is not required.
