Description
The Bartow History Museum invites Junior Girl Scouts (Grades 4-5) to participate in Girl Scout Day - Georgia’s Native Peoples. This special program allows scouts to earn the Georgia’s Native Peoples Council’s Own Badge through engaging, hands-on activities. Participants will explore the rich history and culture of the Cherokee and Muscogee peoples through storytelling, crafts, and interactive activities. Scouts will learn about the tribes’ original homelands in Georgia and gain insight into their lives before and during Removal. All attending Girl Scouts will complete the full badge requirements and receive their badge at the end of the program. Program Details: Registration is required. Space is limited, so advance registration is strongly encouraged.
