Girl Scout Workshop: Playing the Past

Description

Transform into a woman of the past, in this case, Girl Scout Founder Juliette Gordon Low, and discover what life was like decades ago! Scouts will learn about 1920s fashion, have the chance to make their own accessories, create a diorama of a 1920s home, and play old-fashioned parlor games! Plus, Scouts will get the chance to tour the Bartow History Museum with a special look into the connections between Juliette Gordon Low and Bartow County and the inspiration this area had on her founding of the Girl Scouts. Registration is $15 per scout. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 17.
