Description
Join Chanell Lowery for a presentation on the desegregation of the textile manufacturing industry in the town of Bowdon, GA. Her presentation is the result of graduate research she did at the University of West Georgia. The presentation will introduce attendees to the Bowdon Georgia Spur Project through the lenses of both decolonizing and community narratives using oral histories. This lecture is free for members. $7 for not yet members.
