Description
Join us at the Bartow History Museum on August 18, 2021 at noon as Tyler Crafton-Karnes presents World War II in Georgia. The lecture will focus on how certain areas of Georgia, such as Savannah, Marietta, and Fort Benning, specifically contributed to the war, and how the war then in-turn impacted those communities. Crafton-Karnes stated that his goal with this particular lecture is to weave in the stories of individuals who were involved in the war efforts to make this part of history more personal.
