December 7 & 8, 2025 Merry Mahjong Retreat Join the ladies of Steel Mahjnolias for a Merry Mahjong retreat at Barnsley Resort. Learn about Mahjong, sharpen skills and soak up the beauty of the holiday season in the festive resort village, decorated for the holidays. Five expert Steel Mahjnolia instructors offer four fun and festive Mahj sessions.
Sunday, December 7
3 – 4 p.m. | Welcome Mahjnolia Reception & Registration* Check-in for overnight guests available starting at 3 p.m.
4-6:30 p.m. | Session One: Intro Lesson & Table Mixer*
6:30-9 p.m. | Dinner On Own Enjoy dinner at Woodlands before or after a scenic stroll through the festive resort village and iconic Manor House Ruins.
9 p.m. To Midnight | Mahj to Midnight Open Play (Christmas pjs encouraged)*
Monday, December 8
7-9 a.m. | Breakfast on Own Join us at Woodlands where you can choose from an extensive a la carte menu of options from light and healthy bites to more indulgent options to start the day.
9:30-11:30 a.m. | Session Two: Tiles, Tricks & Teaching Time*
12 p.m. | Lunch Is Served* Enjoy lunch with your mahjong companions.
1-3 p.m. | Session Three: Merry Mahjong Round Robin*
Registration
The Merry Mahjong Registration Fee includes: Up to four sessions of mahjong workshops and instruction led by the Steel Mahjnolias. Welcome Reception Lunch on Monday $295 per person *ltems included in the registration fee. All other expenses are on own. Cash bars are available at all Mahjong sessions.
