THIS DAY WON'T LEAVE YOU IN THE DARK! Join us at Tellus Science Museum on Monday, April 8, to witness the Great American Solar Eclipse of 2024! Our Observatory will be open 12:30 – 4:30 PM (weather permitting) for guests to view the spectacle with our solar telescope. At Tellus, we will experience 84% coverage of the Sun. We will also have live views of totality from other locations via NASA’s stream in our Theater. HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES 12:30 - 4:30 PM - Make a solar bead bracelet - Create eclipse chalk art PLUS, FREE FOR MUSEUM GUESTS: Giveaways are one per guest and while supplies last. - One pair of solar viewing glasses - pickup with ticket purchase - One eclipse Mini Moon Pie - pickup when exiting the Observatory
