The Patient Care Technician (PCT) program prepares individuals to become integral members of healthcare teams by equipping them with the essential skills needed to assist Registered Nurses (RNs) in providing direct patient care. This program focuses on practical training in both outpatient and inpatient environments, enabling trainees to perform tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, supporting medical procedures, and ensuring patient safety. Upon successful completion and certification by the National Healthcare Association (NHA), PCTs will play a critical role in enhancing patient experiences and outcomes. The program responds to the growing demand for skilled patient care professionals and supports the effective delivery of healthcare across diverse settings.
