This luncheon will feature Dr. Donald Green, who serves as President of Georgia Highlands College. Prior to his work at GHC, Don served as the vice president for extended and international operations and dean of the College of Professional and Technological Studies at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, was academic dean for Davenport University, and had his own firm advising corporations, governmental organizations, and educational institutions on training and education.
Don's principal areas of work are the development of unique degree programs for future labor markets, improving educational services to non-traditional student populations and community outreach. He believes higher education must become more accessible and entrepreneurial.
Dr. Green holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University, a Masters in Labor and Human Resource Management from Ohio State University and a Bachelor's in Public Administration from Michigan State University. He is blessed with a wife and three children and is in the process of moving his family to Northwest Georgia.
