Description
LECTURE: Toxic substances called PFAs have been discharged from industrial sites into our waterways for years, contaminating local water sources downstream. Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman, executive director and riverkeeper at Coosa River Basin Initiative, will discuss the history of these chemicals in our region, the current state and federal regulations that impact their use, and what steps are being taken to combat the issue.
