Description
Vicki will be teaching the Star Dance Quilt Pattern block using the Paper Piecing method. Teaching the one block will give the participant the skill to create a beautiful quilt, pillow, or any other creative project using paper piecing. Vicki will be working with batik fabrics. Paper piecing refers to sewing fabrics to a paper foundation to stabilize the quilt block due to unusual geometric shapes, small pieces or odd angles on a bias. Cost is $10. Supplies needed:
Sewing Machine
Neutral color thread
Cutting matt and rotary cutter
Thimble
Large Scissors to cut paper and fabric
Small Scissors for snipping
Large Machine Needles - size for denim or 100/16
Iron & Ironing Surface
