Black Bartow Events is proud to announce the Soul and Wellness Fest, presented by Piedmont Cartersville, taking place Saturday, August 1 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in downtown Cartersville's Friendship Plaza. The free community event will bring together health resources, music, movement, and meaningful conversations focused on wellness for the whole community.

The Soul and Wellness Fest will feature a vibrant healthy lifestyle vendor market, showcasing local businesses and organizations offering food, products, services, and resources that promote healthier living.

Throughout the morning, feel-good music from DJ Burley will set the tone while guests explore the event. Under the tent, attendees can participate in a lineup of engaging wellness experiences, including a hip-hop dance class, transformational yoga session, and a mental health panel discussion designed to encourage open dialogue and provide practical tools for maintaining mental and emotional well-being.

In addition, Piedmont Cartersville will provide free health screenings, giving attendees an opportunity to check in on their health and connect with trusted medical professionals.

“Soul and Wellness Fest is about creating space for our community to focus on health in a way that feels welcoming, empowering, and culturally connected,” said organizer Trey Benham with Black Bartow Events. “From movement and music to mental health conversations and health screenings, we want people to leave feeling informed, energized, and supported.”

The event is free and open to the public, making it an accessible opportunity for individuals and families to prioritize their well-being while connecting with local resources and businesses.
