Description
SHOOT FOR THE STARS WITH TELLUS SCIENCE MUSEUM AT OUR NATIONAL ASTRONOMY DAY STAR PARTY! The celebration kicks-off at 5:30 PM with solar viewing in our Observatory and activities in the Museum for astronomers of all ages. Make a mission medallion, design a spaceship/moonbase, grab some fun NASA giveaways, and more. Once it’s dark, head outside to view objects in the evening sky such as the Moon, Gamma Leo, and the Hercules Globular Cluster. Then, join us at 9:30, 10, and 10:15 PM for star walks on the Museum grounds that will feature a live tour of the night sky.
