Dive into the legacy of Adairsville Historian and Writer, Alice “Topsy'” Howard, with her granddaughters Alice Stevens and Nancy Hildreth. Learn about Ms. Topsy’s work as a suffragette and society page writer, the work she put into preserving the history of Barnlesy Gardens, and the start of the Sans Souci Library in Adairsville. Plus, get to know more about the ghosts that supposedly shared her home, and the seances and table tapping sessions she hosted that one time resulted in the Governor of Georgia coming for a visit! This lecture is free for BHM members. $7 for not yet members.
